Instagram campaign team

The campaign in 30 seconds

From brief to creator-led work

  1. The brief

    Your product becomes useful

You needed creators to see Instagram Edits as part of a real creative process, not another list of product features.

  2. The creative move

Give the audience a real story

I turned my Better Than Everyone series into a live lesson about hooks, pacing, captions, retention, and emotional connection.

  3. What I made

    Strategy through delivery

I carried one creator-led idea through creative strategy, live education, product demonstration, and paid content.

The detailed story

Three Instagram Edits app screens showing ideas, a video timeline, and layered audio and captions against an Instagram gradient.
Instagram Edits appeared inside a real creator workflow rather than as a detached feature demonstration.

The creative tension

Product education can lose people when it turns into a list of technical instructions. Creators already know where the buttons are. I give them a reason to care by showing what each creative choice asks an audience to feel.

For Camp Edits, that gave Instagram an emotional way into product education. I framed editing as an extension of empathy: a way to help somebody recognize themselves, laugh because they feel seen, or feel less alone for the length of a video.

Turning a familiar format into a teaching tool

My Better Than Everyone series gave the product a format the audience already understood and the room a real creative system to study. I have made more than 85 videos in the series, each finding absurd self-importance in an ordinary behavior. The joke works because viewers recognize their own habits or immediately think of somebody they know.

That familiarity gave Edits a head start. I showed how the same emotional promise carries across videos through a repeatable opening beat, fast pacing, short clips, music, text, and an escalating edit. By sharing raw footage and an Edits timeline, I made the product part of the creative payoff.

Product education inside a real workflow

I grounded the product education in decisions creators already make. Layer controls supported alternate music and export versions, direct Instagram publishing reduced workflow friction, and analytics guided future edits. Edits felt useful because it made experimentation easier, not because I stopped the story to recite features.

That also meant translating analytics into creative action. I used three-second retention to show whether emotional onboarding worked, then connected skip rate to a slow setup, unclear framing, or a joke the audience could not understand quickly enough.

From the room to the Reel

The campaign did not end in the room. I turned the live experience into a concise paid partnership Reel that moved from the presentation to the editing timeline while carrying the same premise as the talk: editing is a form of empathy.

The idea continued through Stories and creator reposts, extending its reach beyond the contracted Reel. The verified results show reach, engagement, and audience participation without overstating broader business impact.

What the partnership demonstrated

This partnership showed how product education can stay specific without becoming clinical. A recognizable creative format made the product matter, and the framework gave creators something they could adapt to their own voices. I brought the strategy, performance, teaching, and content together so the product felt native to the experience rather than added after the idea.
