About RV
I’m a Detroit-based content creator and storyteller who finds the funny, sharp, and unexpectedly honest parts of everyday life.

My work moves through comedy, identity, Filipino and Asian American culture, queer life, food, technology, travel, self-awareness, and connection. Those subjects overlap because life does. I’m interested in the detail that makes a story recognizable, not a broad label that tries to explain everything.
I create social content, write, and collaborate with brands on stories that feel native to the audience while still having structure, intention, and a reason to exist.
A technical background, used in service of the story
I’ve also worked as a software engineer and in design-systems roles. That background helps me explain technical products clearly, plan organized productions, account for accessibility, and collaborate with product and creative teams.
What shapes the work
- Humor that comes from observation instead of forcing a punchline
- Culture and identity treated as lived context, not a campaign costume
- Food and everyday rituals as ways people remember and connect
- Technology examined with curiosity and healthy skepticism
- Creative work made with care for accessibility and the audience’s time
